Rules For Rich's House

The Mantra

1. When the DM is talking nobody else is (we all need to work on this so no complaining)

2. If you're not playing, you're not at the table. (Due to lack of chairs, and distractions)

• EDIT- If you're not playing, you can come and ask a question, or ask for help with something, or come say we have to go home, etc.*

3. Roleplaying is a must, when you are playing, you're playing your character. Learn him/her and know them, play them well, and eventually we will get used to playing.

• I feel the problem is that we have never taken it "seriously" so we joke around too much, hence we get nothing accomplished

4. Read the damn book. Every other game in the world expects that you learn how to play before you play it. The idea that roleplaying games are any different, even though they are actually more complicated, is just wrong. You don't need to memorize everything, but at least know how your class and your abilities work.

Other Rules

1. When we are split up, the DM decides what happens to whom and when it happens

2. This is more than Rich's Apartment, others live here, they respect our freedom to play, we must respect their freedom to sleep/use their stuff/not be bothered

• EDIT- The stupid room-mate is gone...it is now rich's apartment (still need to respect lexi, but other then that the rest of the place is playing)**DO NOT FORGET ABOUT THE BELOW RULE**

3. This is more then one house, we need to respect our neighbors, for they can hear us as well (official 1st complaint!!)

4. Under no circumstances is Ryan allowed to have the airsoft gun.

5. From now on it is BYOS "Bring your own shit". Under no circumstances do we have to share everything in the house/that you brought with anyone. Food isnt cheap as im sure most of you know. Sorry for any inconveniences.

6. This has two parts:

• Over 21: BYOA--If its not cheap don't drink it, bring your own. If you go in with someone, thats your business. If we all go in together so be it. If you want a beer that bad, pay someone. (This applies to any beer, hard liquor, or wine)

• Under 21: Do not drink. If you're laughing, then so be it. Sorry I didn't make the laws...I just have to enforce them. Your not the one who gets the fine, I am. No to underage drinking.
