Background
Early Years
Aust's early life was nothing extraordinary. A simple boy in a perhaps not so simple city, but nonetheless, ordinary. His father, a member of the Church of Pelor, often influenced Aust to attend church with him and to practice the ways of Pelor. His father had always told him that "someday you will be a member just like your father, and you will begin your studies. Soon you will know what it is like to bring life to those around you". Whether or not Aust's father knew this beyond all doubt or whether it was just a hopeful wish of an old man, his father was not in the least incorrect.
Guiding Light
When Aust began his teenage life, he was enlisted into the church. But over the years, the church had changed, grown, evolved. And in some ways, it wasn't what it quite was when he was but a young boy. There had been talks of heresey, betrayal, and murder in the church. When Aust's father passed away in the natural ways of the world, Aust's grief was great. It was then that he sought refuge in the church, in Pelor, for guidance. In his dreams, he saw a giant golden sun in the sky, while he himself stood in a field of tall grass. The sun formed into a face, the face he recognized as Pelor himself. In this dream, and many dreams to follow, Pelor instructed Aust in the ways of channeling his god given ability to heal the world around him. Pelor told Aust of the imminent fall of the church and how he and his mother must flee.
And so it was that Aust and his mother fled from the city where he was born. Not reaching more than 5 miles from the city, there was a giant explosion and the city went up in bright white flame. It was then that Aust knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that Pelor was guiding his life.
Aust's mother would not make the journey. The bitter winter fell on their travels and not even his new-found abilities could help keep his mother alive. Cursing Pelor's name, Aust grieved again for days. However, over time, he regained himself and continued his journey.
It was from the day that his mother died that Aust vowed to find new power, in life or in death, to keep harm from those around him. It was that day that he began his life long quest to transcend the bounds of human restriction, to reach into the heart of the divine and to save those worth saving.

Appearance
A average sized man standing at 5'10". His hair flows from his head at just above shoulder length. As brown as the dirt, the color of his hair matches his eyes. He is not particularly strong but makes up for this lack of strength in the way of divine practices. He wears a simple robe (with a hood) over his armor. On the back of this robe is the shining golden insignia of Pelor, god of the sun.
