Origins
The exact origins of Matt Luke are unknown. Allegedly the concept was a unanimous, naturally occurring archetypal push made on a student from Rose Hulman Institute of Technology who attended the 2008 IJST Student Abroad program at Kanazawa Institute of Technology. Sometime early on in this program, a legend was born.
The Early Days
Visualized by the student's cut-off gloves and bandana, given life by his mountainous accident and catchphrases, and finally allowed to flourish due to the lax atmosphere of the Japanese culture classroom, the Matt Luke character was created.
In general, students would think of ridiculous situations, in which Matt Luke always prevailed in the most gaudy fashion. The plot knew no bounds, and the only rules seemed to be an unsaid but well-understood guideline for physical appearance. Furthermore, Matt Luke soon developed a power for blowing up anything and everything he jumped off of.
